Karla joined the S.O.S. team in January of 2010 as a leasing consultant. Karlaís responsibilities include all aspects of leasing, from unit advertising and marketing to tenant screening, lease preparation and move in. Prior to joining S.O.S., Karla was the office administrator for a large independent real estate firm in Los Angeles, CA for over five years. Karla obtained her real estate license in 2006.

Shellie joined S.O.S. in 2003, and has been an integral part of our organization ever since. Shellie quickly worked her way up to office administrator, accounting assistant and ultimately office manager. Currently, as our office manager and bookkeeping manager, Shellie oversees all daily operations of the office and staff, as well as all property accounts receivables, payables, and financial reporting.

Monica joined the S.O.S. team in late 2009, as our administrative/property management assistant. Prior to joining our team, Monica was employed as a full time resident manager at a mid-size multifamily apartment in the south bay, where she oversaw all aspects of the property. Monicaís duties at S.O.S. include resident and owner relations, new property coordination, move out packages, as well as marketing and advertising.

Jody joined the S.O.S. team as our property manager for our North County division, Scuba & Associates in early 2006. Jody brings nearly 15 years of residential property management experience specializing in single family, condominiums, and small multi-family apartment buildings. Jodyís current duties include every aspect of off site management for our North county portfolio, including resident and owner relations, maintenance issues, resident screening, and maintenance issues Jody has been a licensed California real estate agent since 1997.

Debbie has been a vital part of the S.O.S. team since 2005. Debbie has been a resident of San Diego County nearly 40 years and brings nearly 12 years of experience in property management. As our largest area manager Debbie oversees all aspects of management from owner and resident relations, maintenance issues and project management, to tenant screening, and security deposit dispositions. Debbie has been a licensed California real estate agent since 1997.

Dan became a member of the S.O.S. organization in November 2005. Prior to joining our team Dan worked in the floor covering and landscaping industry for 30 years, specializing in the improvement of rental and multifamily housing. Danís primary duties include supervising our in house maintenance staff as well as assisting our property managers with on site improvement projects and vacancy turnover management.

Michael began in the rental housing arena approximately 15 years ago. Beginning as a multifamily investor and developer, Michael quickly began to apply his skills as a third party property manager in the late 1990s. After obtaining a California Real Estate Brokers license in 1999, Michael soon established his company and incorporated under the S.O.S. name in 2001. With Michaelís vision of the ideal third party property manager and his extensive experience in property and construction management, S.O.S. has become and local industry leader. Michaelís current duties include new business development, company marketing, bookkeeping, maintenance oversight, construction management, and human resources.

Robert began his real estate career over 18 years ago working in the real estate development and property management business. In 1999, Robert established Devkor Properties Inc. and began investing in the San Diego multi-family market. Robert self managed these apartment properties through Devkor, and soon after applied his skills to manage third party properties. Robert joined S.O.S. as President in 2007 and is a licensed California real estate broker. Robertís current duties include the day to day management of all operational aspects of the business, including overseeing our property managers, leasing and maintenance staff, accounts payable and receivable, as well as owner relations and new business development.
